After...

There're some adjustments on the hue and saturation of the photo to make the photo sharper and the colours will be more stands out.
Before edited, the colour of the leaves looks very dull and lifeless. After edited, the colour of the leaves more green, brighten up and clear.

Before edited, the photo of the sunset seems to lose the warm tones. After edited, we can feel the gleaming sunset that rich with colour and warmth that seems to reach.

dream, dream, dreamweaver..

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.

What is that??? I only know Adobe Reader, Adobe Photoshop but Adobe Dreamweaver? I have no idea at all! My mind goes like this...

Today was the Authoring System class with Dr. Norasykin. At the beginning of the lesson, we were asked to install Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. After that, Dr. Norasykin introduced the usage of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and at the same time, we were given an assignment to work in a group to develop a website. It was really challenging and I was really worried that I couldn't done my assignment well because I was new to it and it was something that I unfamiliar with.

But, after 2 days lesson with Dr. Norasykin, I have gained valuable knowledge on the basic use of Dreamweaver to develop a web page in HTML, ASP and PHP files. We also being taught about developing a database file using Microsoft Access and Xampp.

Throughout the whole lesson, we get to explore the use of Dreamweaver ourself and every time we faced a problem, Dr. Norasykin will patiently checked for us and taught us step-by-step. I found that I started to be more interested in developing a web page. All my worries begin to fade away and even after the class, I still work with my classmate to revise back what we have learnt and find some videos and tutorials on web to explore more about Dreamweaver. We always discuss together via Facebook group and I really glad that all my classmates are very helpful and not stingy in sharing useful information on Dreamweaver.

Here's some of the useful and simple step by step tutorial using Dreamweaver recommended by my classmates:

To be frankly, I was only a beginner, a novice in develop a web page, there are still more for me to learn, to explore myself. And I will try my best along with my group member to develop a web page, hopefully.
*finger crossed*

As a conclusion, I think that I have stepped out of my comfort zone, to learn something new.

"Tak kenal maka tak cinta"

Yes, it is! I am now getting excited to learn more about how to develop a web page!

Foundation of Educational Technology Class

I had my very first lesson with Prof Bahruddin and being taught about the development of educational technology, product and process of it and differences between Augmented Reality (AR) and Birtual Reality (VR).

We have done some study on the web about the topic related and share our views and thoughts about it. It was an effective learning as each of us get to gather and share all the information that we've find in the web and it helps to strengthen our knowledge on the topic.

Besides that, we were assign a task individually to prepare a presentation to compare two different types of ICT products. And I've decided to compare hottest and trendy product: Iphone 5S and Samsung Note 3.
As it was my first presentation, I was very nervous and I think that I could have done it better.
I will try my best to improve on the coming presentation.

:(

Anyway, here's a little sum up of the topic I've learnt.

Augmented Reality:
The blending of virtual reality and real life as developers can create images within applications that blend in with contents in the real world. With AR, users are able to interact with virtual contents in the real world. It is widely use by doctor in operating room.

Virtual Reality:
The creation of a virtual world that users can interact with. The virtual world should be designed in such a way that users would find it difficult to tell the difference from what is real and what is not.

Differences:
With AR, users continue to be in touch with the real world while interacting with virtual objects around them. With VR, the user is isolated from the real world while immersed in a world that is completely fabricated. VR work better for video games and social networking in a virtual environment.
